Web Summit Lisbon

In the beginning of November Web Summit Europe 2022 took op place in Lisbon. Web Summit is a orgainization from Dublin, Ireland, that holds events across the world. It’s the world’s premier tech conference. The Atlantic said that Web Summit is ‘where the future goes to be born’.

Lisbon hosts more than 25.000 visitors during the Web Summit of Europe. People flew in from all over the world for the conference. A good moment for street advertising and promotion. Paper Trails supported a few campaigns during the event: TEA.inc, Reaktor and 1inch.

For the promotion of TEA we organized a week full of wild posting & flyer hand-outs. Wild posting in the area of Web Summit, districts like: Parque Das Naçoes, LX Factory , North of Barrio Alto, Around R. Da Palma, Around Hub Creativo, Around Pink Street and Around Parque Eduardo VII. Wild posting with multiple creatives in the size B2 and A1.

TEA organized a network event on Friday. To get some attention during the week and all the other events a team hands out flyers. Promotion at the day conference and during the night at Pink street.

For Reaktor we’ve promoted a campaign to recruit more consultants. It’s a consultancy and agency services, built on exceptional technological competences with offices in Amsterdam, Lisbon, Stockholm, Tokyo, New York City and Helsinki. How do you get attention at a digital conference? During the night time when people travel to other locations or back to the hotel. Wild projection and the walking beamer were perfect for this request. With a professional team, 20.000 lumen beamer and a van we set up the projection in the city center. We’ve projected the Corte Ingles & Praca de Commerci. On the 2nd night we walked with the smaller beamer 7500 through the night heart of the summit: Pinkstreet. The video gets attention and there is a lot of interaction with the visitors.

For 1inch we’ve done more campaigns in 2022. A campaign in Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris. In Lisbon we’ve combined the digital screens with wild posters. The Dooh were spread citywide and at the airport The posters were size B2 and A1 with a focus on: Parque Das Naçoes, LX Factory , North of Barrio Alto, Around R. Da Palma, Around Hub Creativo, Around Pink Street and Around Parque Eduardo VII.
